In the Spirit of the Season
With the help of your business, we got to contribute to several charities this year.
The Grandstand Staff teamed up to raise money for the local chapter of Junior Achievement. This is a privately funded organization that recruits local business leaders to volunteer in schools with the purpose to help education kids about entrepreneurship, free enterprise, and the economics of life. Grandstand was able to organize 3 teams and raise several hundred dollars to help the Kansas chapter buy supplies for this program.
For the third year in a row Grandstand sponsored the annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis this month. The 5k event allowed participants and their families to dress for the holiday season, tie jingle bells to their shoelaces and walk to prevent, control and cure arthritis.
